Shall the Board of Supervisors enact a 1/2 cent sales tax for general governmental purposes, with the following mandatory restrictions? The sales tax shall expire after ten years. All tax proceeds shall be expended or encumbered within twelve years. The County Auditor-Controller, and independent elected official will conduct yearly audits of these sales tax expenditures. These expenditures will also be audited by an independent auditor.
