To improve residents’ safety and quality of life, shall the City of Santa Cruz issue seven million dollars ($7,000,000) in general obligation bonds to: Repair, improve, and seismically upgrade the City’s three antiquated fire stations; purchase the 246-acre Bombay greenbelt property for permanent preservation as open space; develop a community park with a sports field and children's playground in the South of Laurel area; construct a fire administration building to replace the one destroyed by the Loma Prieta earthquake, if sufficient funds are available?
