LOS ANGELES Measure E

This measure amended the Long Beach City Charter to create a Police Oversight Commission and Police Oversight Director to replace the existing Citizen Police Complaint Commission. The new system gives the Director authority to audit police complaint investigations, review major use of force incidents, and make recommendations on police operations and policies.
