MONTEREY Measure V

This measure amends Monterey's City Charter to remove outdated provisions, fix contradictions, update ordinance adoption procedures, and clarify that the Library Board has authority to hire and fire the Library Director, who manages the library's collection policy and staff. The Charter Amendment passed in 2024.
