The measure would have authorized Sierra Sands Unified School District to issue $42 million in bonds to fund school facility improvements including safety upgrades, roof and plumbing repairs, and modernization of STEM classrooms. The bonds would have been repaid through a property tax levy of 6 cents per $100 of assessed valuation while the bonds remained outstanding.
