The measure would have authorized the Wheatland Union High School District to issue $20 million in bonds to continue construction of a new high school for Plumas Lake students and build additional classrooms, restrooms, and other facilities. The bonds would have been repaid through property taxes at approximately $30 per $100,000 of assessed value, generating about $1.1 million annually while the bonds remain outstanding.
