This measure amends a 2000 agricultural preservation initiative to allow agricultural buildings in Large Parcel Agriculture areas to have a maximum floor area ratio of 0.025, and permits covered equestrian riding arenas of 20,000 to 60,000 square feet with the same floor area ratio in Large Parcel Agriculture and Resource Management areas. The changes are intended to preserve and enhance agriculture in unincorporated Alameda County while allowing specified agricultural and equestrian structures.
