This measure authorized Marin County Open Space District to issue $23 million in bonds to acquire the "Martha Property" on the Tiburon Peninsula and prepay existing open space bonds, funded by an annual special tax of $335 per parcel that increases 2% annually. The tax revenue would be used to repay the bonds and cover costs for vegetation management of the Martha Property and Old St. Hillary's Open Space Preserve, along with district administration expenses.
