This measure would have imposed an annual property tax of 15 cents per square foot on single-family residential units (with different rates for other land uses) to fund Cathedral City parks and recreation facility improvements, youth and senior programs, and related services. The measure also would have authorized up to $39 million in bonds and generated approximately $4.5 million annually until terminated by voters.
