Contra Costa Measure H

This measure increased the transient occupancy tax on hotel rooms from 8 percent to a maximum of 12 percent and eliminated the tax exemption for federal and state employees on official business. The revenue would fund general city programs and services including youth facilities, police, parks, recreation, and street maintenance.
