Plumas Measure A

This ballot measure would replace an expiring $90 annual special tax with a new $200 annual special tax on most parcels in the district to fund emergency medical response, fire protection and prevention, and hazardous materials response. The tax would run indefinitely starting July 1, 2012, and would also raise the district's spending limit by the amount of tax revenue collected.
