Santa Clara Measure D

This measure repealed Article V of the Palo Alto City Charter, eliminating the requirement that disputes over public safety employee compensation, benefits, and working conditions be resolved through binding interest arbitration. It gave the City Council final decision-making authority over all matters related to public safety employee terms of employment.
