To enhance public services and city facilities—such as maintaining police, fire, paramedic, and disaster preparedness; building a new public library with disabled access and space for children’s programs; and maintaining and improving streets and sidewalks, recreational facilities, and senior programs—and for other general city purposes, shall the City of San Bruno be authorized to enact a half-cent sales tax, with all proceeds placed in the City’s general fund, and with an independent citizen’s oversight committee?
