The Fish And Wildlife Habitat Enhancement Act of 1984 established programs and funding mechanisms to enhance and protect fish and wildlife habitats throughout California. The measure created dedicated revenue sources for habitat conservation projects and expanded the state's authority to acquire and manage lands for wildlife preservation.
