Shall the Board of Supervisors enact a one-half of one percent sales and use tax for the purpose of financing the development and construction of a new Kings County Jail and the expansion of Juvenile Detention Facilities? The tax shall expire at the end of eight years, but the Board of Supervisors shall have the power and authority to repair the tax earlier, prior to the expiration of the eight-year period?
