Shall the Board of Supervisors enact a one-half percent sales tax for general County purposes with the following mandatory restrictions? 1. The tax shall expire within eight years. 2. A local citizens' Oversight Committee is formed to monitor all expenditures of the sales tax proceeds, to cause an annual independent audit of the expenditures, and to report it audit annually to the public.
