To relieve severe overcrowding, repair, renovate, and maintain neighborhood schools, and quality for state matching funds, shall the Cupertino Union School District issue eighty million dollars in bonds at interest rates not exceeding the legal limit to build or acquire school facilities and a new middle school; renovate, repair, and maintain facilities; repair or replace leaky roofs, heating, ventilation, electrical systems, restrooms and plumb ing; remove asbestos and other hazardous materials; and bring schools up to current safety standards?
