Shall Imperial County Ordinance No. 1309, which would impose, for a period not to exceed eight years, a transactions and use tax (I.e. sales tax) of one-half percent (0.5%), upon retail transactions within the incorporated and unincorporated areas of the County be adopted and the revenues used for general governmental purposes and distributed amongst the County of Imperial and cities of Brawley, Calexico, Calipatria, El Centro, Holtville, Imperial and Westmorland?
